The European League of Football is looking for a Legal Counsel (m/f/d) at our Munich or Hamburg location, starting as soon as possible, full-time.

What your job entails:

As the main point of contact, you are responsible for the comprehensive support and legal advice for the European League of Football, particularly for the management and executives.
You are in charge of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including distribution, marketing, licensing, and employment agreements.
You handle and lead or coordinate civil and (extra) judicial disputes on behalf of the ELF.
Additionally, you manage external law firms and service providers in legal matters, particularly in sports and contract law as well as insurance, IT, and trademark law.
You serve as the legal contact for issues related to data protection and information security for the league.

What we are looking for:

Successfully completed first and second state examinations in law (fully qualified lawyer).
Professional experience in a company, association, law firm, or consulting firm.
Knowledge and experience in general civil law as well as sports, marketing, and licensing law.
Ideally, knowledge in IT and IP/trademark law.
Conceptual thinking and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
Proficiency in negotiating in both German and English.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with an affinity for digital workflows.
